VeganMoFo 13: Thursday = Dessert (Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with Carob Chips & Nuts)

Sometimes simple just works.

Last March, when feeling noshy for something sweet, I came up with a Vegan Marshmallow Sandwich with just four ingredients.

This week I give you the basic bowl of ice cream.

  • So Delicious Purely Decadent Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • Carob Chips
  • Walnuts

Sometimes simple just works.

  1. This looks so delicious. My favorite ice cream is vanilla bean, but I haven’t been able to find a vegan version of it – and I don’t care what people say, vanilla bean > vanilla. After my classes today, I am going on a quest to find this ice cream. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Oh hell yeah, I love simple.  Logan and I love to eat a scoop of peanut butter with chocolate chips for dessert sometimes – way easier than making peanut butter cups, methinks!  The ice cream and the marshmallow sandwich looks super tasty.

    1. Yes! They were one of the sponsors at Vida Vegan Con (as was So Delicious) so i got to try both. I haven’t found Coconut Bliss at my local health food store but I’ll bet they have it Whole Foods. Will need to check because that Pineapple sounds GOOD.

  3. whoa.  im thinking that marshmallow sammie is looking mighty amazing right now.  the ice cream isnt too shabby either…

  4. mmm vanilla bean!  That sounds so good right now. I always like nuts in mine too.
I think my favourite flavour ice-cream will always be mint chocolate chip but I tried the Naked Coconut Coconut Bliss for the first time a few days ago and that was incredible.
