Try The Vegan Air Fryer recipes before buying!

by JL Fields on June 23, 2017

Hello from New York! I’ve been busy touring the U.S. and parts of Canada with my new cookbook and I’m having so much fun! I did take a break, however, to visit NYC to teach at the Main Street Vegan Academy Master Class (I’m so honored to be on the same faculty as Dr. Neal Barnard, Bruce Friedrich, Christopher Sebastian McJetters:, Kat Mendenhall, and many more).

The book tour resumes next week and here’s where I’ll be for the rest of this month and in July:

Keep up with the book tour here.

There’s also a blog tour going on right now and it’s so much fun seeing recipes from my book pop up on the internet! It’s a great way for you to “try before you buy”! Sample some of The Vegan Air Fryer recipes and see what you think. (If you don’t have an air fryer, I have a couple of tips, below!)

No air fryer? Here are two tips:

Use the oven

Simply increase the temperature by 30 degrees (so a recipe calling for 330°F in the air fryer should be baked at 360°F) and increase the cooking time by 50% (10 minutes air fried = 20 minutes baked). This is a guide and you’ll have to experiment a little.

Fry in oil in a skillet

Go old-school and simply fry some of the recipes in a skillet on medium-high to high heat in oil (a little or lot, cook’s choice0.

See! There’s nothing stopping you from picking up a copy of The Vegan Air Fryer! 😉
