Time flies when you’re trying to live a life devoted to ending violence against animals!
Actually, my vegan anniversary is on February 20 but I decided to use the entire month to celebrate. I’m starting today.
- Three years ago this month I went vegan.
- Two years ago this month I wrote Vegan for a Year, describing what I learned in my first year on a plant-based diet. On this blog I wrote about how I learned to go vegan — which launched The Vegan 101 Series.
- Last year I turned my reflection outward. I asked you to help me raise money for Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. You did. In fact, we surpassed my goal and raised over $1,000!
This year I am asking you to support Our Hen House.
I am a more educated, stronger and effective activist on behalf of animals because I listen to the Our Hen House weekly Podcast and I read the Our Hen House Online Magazine.
Let’s support the indie media powerhouse that I refer to as our vegan NPR.
