Hi, all! I’m back in Taos! There are three more weeks in the fall term and my culinary students are going to have some fun cooking up vegan eats. I truly love my role as a chef instructor!
I’m quickly writing today because I just found out that the Kindle version of my book Vegan Pressure Cooking: Beans, Grains, and One-Pot Meals in Minutes is only $2.99!
Grab the link to download here. (If you prefer to hold a book in your hands, the paperback version – not on sale – is available here for $14.71.)
Many of you purchased Instant Pots or Fagor LUX multicookers over the weekend. Here’s how my recipes work in those devices:
Instant Pot ($129.95, 6-qt):
- No adjustments to time necessary.
- Select the manual function.
- Toggle the pressure cooker button to high or low pressure as indicated in the recipe.
- Set the time indicated in the pressure.
- That’s it!
Fagor LUX Multicooker ($99.95, 4-, 6- and 8-qt):
- No adjustments to time necessary.
- Select the pressure cooker function.
- It automatically defaults to high pressure. If you are cooking low pressure, select the pressure cooker button again.
- Set the time indicated in the pressure.
- That’s it!
