Vegan Colorado Springs: A cooking class and film screening

I’m back in Colorado! I wrapped up the vegan cooking class in the UNM culinary program Friday, moved out of the Taos condo Saturday, and Sunday I was busy hosting the annual Colorado Springs Vegan Events Holiday Pop-Up Market (it was a huge success!).

Called to rescue filmSpeaking of vegan Colorado Springs things, today on my weekly radio show my guest is Naomi Call, the executive producer and co-director of the new feature-length documentary film Called to Rescue. We are hosting a public screening of the film right here in Colorado Springs on February 8 (details and RSVP here). The event is free, thanks to a grant from VegFund.

You can listen to my interview with Naomi Call here:

Now that I’m back in the Springs full time, I can get back to doing what I love: teaching cooking classes! Here are the details for my next class, designed for home cooks:

Though back in Colorado, I will still be back and forth between the Springs and Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico (stay tuned, we’re cooking up some fun classes in Santa Fe for 2017!). But for now, I’m ready to kick back and enjoy a [relatively] quiet holiday season with Dave, Ernie and Oliver!
