My Vegan Health, Wellness, and Culinary Nutrition Coaching Services

Hey! Is this thing on?

I kid, I kid. It's not you; it's me. After a 2020 of shifting from teaching cooking classes in person in Colorado Springs to offering weekly free cooking classes online via Zoom, I took a pause.

A long one.

I hunkered down in 2021 to think about the fragility of what we know and do. The assumptions we make. And how to use unexpected shifts and availability of time to reconnect to what's important … and what to do about it.

In 2020, as a result of pausing my cooking classes, I started formal health coaching and fell in love with it! So much so that for the entire year of 2021 I prepared and studied to sit for a board certification exam and - hello! -  I'm now a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach (PN1-NC) and a Certified Specialist in Coaching Dietary Strategies (plant-based diets, intermittent fasting, and macros-based diets).

So what does this mean for me … and for you?

My 2022 words are PURPOSE + PASSION. 

My heart is still where my heart is: I'm vegan and so is my work. And I'm as committed as ever to combining purpose and passion to feed my soul while literally and figuratively feeding YOU. I'm still a culinary instructor. And now, in addition to online vegan cooking classes (currently on pause until September but catch four of my 2022 classes here), I'm also able to coach more broadly around health, wellness, and nutrition issues.

What exactly does vegan-specific health, wellness, and culinary nutrition coaching mean?

  • I help you explore your personal goals when it comes to living/eating/being vegan.
  • I offer traditional health and wellness coaching designed to guide behavior from a vegan perspective when addressing food choices, overall health (risks, prevention, etc.), and wellness.
  • I co-create plans with you to navigate cooking vegan foods that align with your nutrition goals.
  • I will NOT shame food choices or suggest that dieting/being skinny is the end-game. I believe in health at a variety of sizes and I believe that YOU are the expert on you and I’ll follow your lead.
