You tell me.

Dear readers,

I’m back from a busy and fun weekend in Anaheim, CA where I attended Natural Products Expo West immediately after submitting my book manuscript – which is why I was unable to post Vegan News You Can Use yesterday or a Meatless Monday post today.

Now home, I’m looking forward to a wee bit of R&R (today only, ha!) and am excited to get back to “regular blogging.”  Which then made me think…what exactly is “regular” these days? More importantly, what do my readers want to read more regularly?

Consider this my bi-annual poll:

What topics are you most interested in reading about on this site?

Please let me know in the comments. And thanks!

  1. The subjects you’ve blogged about in the past have always been great and I always enjoy reading what you post. Keep it up!!

  2. How to get folks to classes or meetings. I started as one of Tess Challis’ Get Waisted Directors in rural Pagosa Springs, CO (I’m an hour east of Durango, CO). I am having a really hard time getting members. Thanks!

    1. Liz, I will definitely continue writing about vegan careers and how to professionalize your passion. I do have a couple of pieces on this site now on how I have offered paid and free events and credit those successes to networking:

If you want to do something more concentrated re: your own practice, I do offer career coaching, which you can read about here: http://www.jlfieldsconsulting.com/career-coaching-how-to-retire-before-you-retire

  3. I’m interested in learning to convert regular soup/stew/chili recipes for the pressure cooker. I’m also interested in pressure cooking times in electric vs. stovetop pressure cookers. Thanks!

  4. I am thinking you are asking this because maybe your heart is not in blogging anymore? You should blog about what interests YOU.
I feel like this blog has become a little bit of a promotional tool for your vegan career now. It seems less personal and more like a giant ad. I understand you want to share your cooking classes, books, etc. but I miss when your blog had a more personal, less “professional”, feel. I liked seeing your garden, hearing about your personal life, the ups and downs of life and vegan adventures…

    1. Great feedback, Samitha. I actually really do want to know what the majority of readers are interested in because there are a zillion things I *could* talk about, but I prefer to use this as a tool to promote veganism, and less of a diary. However, I do hear you on the personal side – when I share some of ho-hum days of gardening, etc., it *does* promote veganism. So thanks for that!
