I liked the concept behind RestaurantWare.com immediately.
A few months ago RestaurantWare.com reached out to share their revamped website and to introduce me to their eco-friendly tableware. I have been on a book tour for several months, plowed through cooking demo supplies and trying to find creative ways to make a mobile cooking demo table look nice.
They sent me samples from their bamboo tableware collection

“Fashion for food,” is their motto and I agree.
As someone who works in the food industry and understandss that catering has been “going green” for a while – I know that we eat with our eyes first! – I was smitten with the eco-friendly, bamboo disposable pieces because they turn my cooking demonstration tables into something far more organized and pleasing to the eye.
And so light and easy to pack. They are a cooking instructor’s best friend!
But I also found they worked beautifully for social gatherings. As someone who hosts numerous food events, these are visually appealing, easy to tote to an event, and fit the bill as they are biodegradable and compostable.

They were also ideal for a quiet Memorial Day cookout with friends.

I entertain for friends and they always know they are in for a fabulous whole foods plant based meal!
I entertain often and while there are a few vegetarians in my circle, I am usually the only vegan, and yet I’ve never had a complaint about my all vegan celebrations. The key is serve delicious food, beautifully presented.
I entertain for my family. This bamboo set would be perfect for outdoor functions!

I don’t! Currently I’m surrounded by neighbors who thing vegans are weird, so….yeah. They don’t eat my food.
I love entertaining and buy local produce to cook for my friends.
I haven’t done a lot of large-group entertaining in a while, but a good way to cut down on dishes – disposable or otherwise – is to focus on finger-foods!
Really interesting, and much prettier than the recycled paper plates I occasionally use.
Usually just entertaining my 4 boys! Love teaching them, just as much as they love to teach me, about healthy living and keeping our earth clean!
