  1. My favorite way to make tofu is a sweet sticky General Tso’s-style! I am really going to have to add an air fryer to my Santa list this year, if I can hold out that long!

  2. Thanks for the amazing giveaway. I’m going to put this on my wishlist. 🙂 We haven’t prepared tofu yet, but I have a feeling my favorite way to prep is going to be the airfryer!

  3. I simply toss it with a little salt and corn starch, then fry it with a few tablespoons of oil on each side in a cast iron pan! It’s amazing and crispy and goes great with the pineapple curry I make!

  4. I simply cut it into cubes, toss it with a little salt and corn starch, then fry it with a few tablespoons of oil on each side in a cast iron pan! It’s amazing and crispy and goes great with the pineapple curry I make!!

  5. As a future registered dietitian, I am always searching for a variety of ways to help my family, friends and future patients make healthier choices, and I would love to learn how the TofuXpress can be a part of that education that I provide. I love stir fries, breakfast scrambles, and most recently in salads. Thank you!

  6. Most of my use of tofu has been in soups and stir-fries. I’m so eager to break out my BRAND NEW air fryer and branch out!

  7. Since I just started following the vegan diet in November, I am truly a newbie at cooking with tofu. In December I bought an airfryer because crispy food is our favorite type; so far the only decent tofu I made is the pressed and seasoned package since I can’t press it correctly. I would love to give the TofuXpree a try!

  8. I don’t have much experience using tofu, but so far, my favorite way to make it is in the pressure cooker with vegetables and tahini!

  9. My air fryer has revolutionized my tofu game!! I used to bake it for an hour and sometimes still not get it crispy. In the air fryer it takes 30 min and it’s so perfect every time!! Can’t wait for all these new recipes!

  10. Thank you for the giveaway, JL! I’ve always wanted to try a Tofu Xpress, but found the cost a bit prohibitive.
My favorite way to eat tofu? Being one of the most versatile ingredients I know, this is a tough question! Let’s say current favorite way to eat it is by marinating it in a lemony brine, then baking it, then serving it paneer-style in indian dishes. Yum!

  11. The air fryer is a game-changer when it comes to tofu. I cube and marinate the tofu in tamari, then air fry it to crispy perfection and add to my stir-fry. Would love to try the TofuXpress. Looking forward to receiving your air frying cookbook.

  12. I normally slice it into small cubes, and then press it between two pans to release the liquid. Then with my hands, mix in tamari & nutritional yeast and then pan fry. It is hands down our favorite way to eat!!

  13. Oh I have wanted a tofu press for a long time now.
My favorite way to use tofu is in a stir fry with a sweet and sour sauce.

  14. Oh my gosh! Is it goofy to be this excited about a tofu press???? LOL
Even before I went WFPB I made “Brocolli Beef-less” for my family with pressed tofu that I cube, spritz with Braggs aminos and bake until chewy. Hopefully I can get an air fryer soon to give me that “meaty” texture. Fingers crossed!

  15. My favorite way to use tofu is to marinate it or bread it (after pressing it of course) and then cook it in the air fryer. I used to bake it in the oven, but the results are better in the air fryer.

  16. Not original, but I love my airfryer for cooking tofu! It gets crispy and amazing so easily. I always had issues with sticking when pan frying or baking!

  17. I love to use tofu cubed in stirfry, scrambled for tacos, sliced on sammies and pureed in smoothies!

  18. I love to make baked tofu using the Moosewood cookbook marinade recipes. It’s great to have on hand for a quick snack.

  19. I’m always looking for new ways to use tofu. I love my tofu scramble on the weekends and I use it all the time to replace ricotta cheese for lasagna and pizzas.

  20. I love tofu so much, but the method I use the most often is: 1 lb tofu, cubed and tossed with 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast. Then I panfry it in the skillet with about 1 tsp oil. It’s so good.

  21. So far scrambled is my favorite way to prepare tofu, but I’m hoping this will help me expand my horizons!

  22. Thanks for the giveaway–much better than using a brick!, I’ll bet! Just made a decent “chick’n” salad with that method. The trick’s in the herbs. Can’t wait to try to Mongolian tofu.

  23. I usually use silken tofu for baking or smoothies….would love a press to adventure into baking or “frying”!

  24. I like to press a firm tofu, slice it thinly, and marinate it along with some thinly sliced mushrooms in some tamari and a few drops of liquid smoke, then pan-fry it with very little oil. Then I add it to a Southern-influenced-but-oil-free collard greens recipe I made up. It really satisfies my Southern comfort food cravings when they need satisfying. I have been wanting a TofuXpress, I’m currently using the plate-with-a-weight-on-top method to press my tofu.

  25. I love tofu every which way. My dad made tofu back in the 1960’s for about a year and since we were vegetarian we ate it in a lot of our meals. My mom fried it with potatoes for a one dish breakfast. We had it scambled and cooked into chili or just fried with sides. I love to marinate and bake. I made a great mac and cheek vegan style with silken firm tofu. It’s on the menu a few time a week.

  26. I have made salad dressing and a tofu scramble, but that is as far as I can get. I need to learn new things to do with it. I do love it!!

  27. I bake it and then coat it in sriracha, nooch and liquid aminos, but I want to try air frying.

  28. My favorite way is cut into cubes, marinated in soy sauce and other seasonings then baked in the oven…so yummy.

  29. Right now my favorite way to eat tofu is by making feta. But I have to admit that desserts and baked aren’t far from the top of the list!

  30. I love to make General Tso’s Tofu, but I also use it to make ranch dressing and “egg” salad sandwiches and scrambles…the list goes on! I love tofu! An Air Fryer is going on my list next!

  31. I feel lucky in that we have a local source of tofu that is awesome! I love to use half a package in a scramble and other half in a stir-fry.

  32. Making vegan meals with my omni friend. First meal we made was tofu tacos.. We ended up having to add a lot more seasonings than the recipe called for.. I think it was because the tofu wasn’t pressed well enough. I’d love to try the (vegan) yogurt cheese idea too! And try to make my own tofu at some point.

  33. My new favorite is pan fried til crispy with a dash of salt and pepper then dipped in a yummy sauce like sweet and sour!

  34. Cubed, tossed in a blend of nutritional yeast, oregano, basil garlic powder, red pepper flakes, black pepper & sea salt, and air fried at 400 degrees for 22-25 minutes. Then I add them to a Caesar salad like croutons!

    1. We could get more creative than that.. On the TofuXpress site they show how to make (vegan) yogurt cheese.. We should try it! And I have a 5 lb bag of beans waiting to be used to make tofu, tempeh or soy milk.. Or all if there is enough.

  35. I love to throw cubed tofu in the air fryer, then serve it over brown rice with a sweet and sour sauce and some broccoli. Easy dinner in no time, and only a few dishes to clean up.

  36. We eat tofu often in our house and I am always looking for new methods to prepare it but I must say…one of my least favorite chores is pressing out the water. The TofuXpress sounds awesome!

  37. My favourite way to make tofu in ?? Canada is to marinated it and then bake it. I am always looking for new ways to make tofu and I think I’d LOVE to learn make it in the air fryer too!

  38. I really love pressing the tofu, marinating it in a mix of teriyaki, soy, and sriracha, then baking it!

  39. I like scrambled tofu! Also: tossed with olive oil, a little soy sauce and Sriracha, then baked. Delicious.

  40. Making my own sprouted tofu would be incredible! Thanks for sharing the one you use, I’ll be looking into Getting my own!

    1. And my favourite way to prepare tofu is simply fried in a little coconut oil and steak spice! Simple and quick!

  41. I would Love, Love, Love to have a TofuXpress! Using a plate and books is such a hassle! I just got an Air Fryer today that is still In the box, and I am sooooo excited to have crispy tofu like I saw in the Air Fryer 101 video!! 🙂

  42. I’ll admit I haven’t been cooking with tofu much but with the TofuXpress it would definitely make it easier!

  43. I love making tofu scramble. It’s my absolute favourite way to eat tofu so far! 🙂

  44. I’m new to vegan cooking, but I love tofu. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but when I try to press tofu with paper towels it just ends up falling apart…I’ve tried making cubes in the air fryer and it too just falls apart. Maybe this will help me. 🙂

  45. I need practice with tofu. Usually I use silken tofu in blender sauces. Pressing the other kind is tricky for me. I really want to try more of it in my Air Fryer.

  46. My favourite way to prepare tofu is in a tofu scramble! I love tofu in all it’s forms, but the simplicity of a tofu scramble calls my name every time.

  47. I’m just starting to try to incorporate my tofu in our meals so right now I only add it to smoothies.

  48. My favorite way to prepare tofu is to treat it like the mozzarella in a caprese sandwich. Add some tomato and basil and some reduced balsamic vinegar and it’s a light refreshing meal!

  49. My favourite tofu is scramble (like scramble eggs). Mmmm, especially when wrapped up as a breakfast taco

  50. My favorite way to make tofu is to fry it and then cook it with soy sauce + sugar + pepper. Yum!

  51. Homefries with tofu from Horn of the Moon Cookbook. Cubed and sauteed until golden, splash with tamari, then nutritional yeast.

  52. My hubby and I love simple baked tofu. I just cut into whatever sized pieces we will be using and cover with a marinade. I don’t even use a recipe most of the time. I just put in flavors I want. Then I bake it. It’s fabulous hot or cold!

  53. I usually just do a simple marinade and bake. Liquid aminos, garlic and smoked paprika is a favorite combination.
