It’s finally here! Real World Vegan Meal Plans launches the week of January 5 (electronic meal plan delivery is Friday, January 2).
We want to give YOU a chance to win a FREE month of our simple meal plans, designed to make eating vegan easy and accessible.
Before we get to the giveaway, a bit more about Real World Vegan Meal Plans:
Where whole foods and convenience come together to help you follow a plant-based diet!
What does “real world” mean?
It means most of us don’t actually eat 21 meals at home each week. We don’t cook each and every meal from scratch. Leftovers are our friends! With that in mind, each week we provide
- Six to eight recipes for a family of four; this is an easy number to reduce if you’re cooking for one or two, or to increase if your family is a little larger (sign up for the six-month plan and we’ll customize the recipes to the exact serving size you require). At least two recipes are bulk-cooked items that can be used in several recipes and/or frozen for future use.
- A shopping list for the recipes.
- Ten to 12 meal “ideas” with grocery shopping suggestions. (Be sure to see the grocery-shopping tip on the last page.)
- Tips on how to navigate meals out at restaurants, at work, or in social settings.
We do not place each meal in a calendar, because how do we know when you’ll be home to cook or eat?! Instead we list out seven recipes, meal ideas, and/or tips for each meal category in our weekly meal plans:
Breakfast x 7
Lunch x 7
Dinner x 7
You decide what you’ll have and when you’ll have it!
Each month I will provide a short video highlighting a few of the featured recipes, meal ideas, and tips from the weekly meal plans. Learn more about our meal planning philosophy in this short video.

I subscribed. I live alone, so I’m looking for meal plans that can involve small, simple recipes or larger recipes that are freeze-able (so I’m not eating the same thing for a week trying to use up the leftovers).

I’d LOVE to see a less than 7 ingredients (or so), extremely budget-friendly plan for the starving college student like me! A ton of recipes call for miso paste or ten different types of fresh vegetables that I can’t afford, so ideas that are super easy and not ingredient-laden would be awesome!
