AVOCARE Extra Virgin Avocado Oil (Giveaway!)

I was recently invited to enjoy a “flight” of new (to me) avocado oil: AVOCARE Extra Virgin Avocado Oil.

AVOCARE Avocado Oil

I have been an avocado oil fan for years, after first being introduced to it when I completed the Intensive Study Program at The Christina Pirello School of Natural Cooking and Integrative Health Studies four years ago. In addition to holding up to a high smoke point,

I love it as an alternative to extra virgin olive oil in salads and other cold vegetable dishes, as well as in baking. So I jumped on the chance to sample this “flight” of flavors.

Four AVOCARE Avocado Oil Flavors

I’ve used the garlic in tofu marinades and the chipotle is divine tossed with roughly chopped raw vegetables.

But today I want to show you two delicious things we did with the original and basil flavor: vegan Caesar dressing and basil bread!

This bread is wonderful for sandwiches. But it’s awfully good as toast, too.

Simply drizzle a little avocado oil with basil over toast, sprinkle with nutritional yeast and garnish with Italian herbs.

I’m a big fan of this oil and the variety of flavors!

  1. I typically use avacado oil in salad dressing, but I did try it in a cake recipe that called for olive oil. Really made for a buttery taste.

  2. I haven’t used avocado oil yet, but it looks like it has a lot of good uses. I can’t make out some of the characteristics of the different oils on your graphic, the resolution doesn’t allow me to enlarge it and still be legible :(. I’d like to know more about it. I’d love to try it out!

  3. I’ve never tried avocado oil. it sounds first off like it would be great in a salad

  4. I have heard great things about it, especially in salad dressings! Thanks for the giveaway.

  5. I have never tried it. I didn’t even know it existed. I would like to try popping popcorn in it.

  6. I’ve actually never even SEEN avocado oil in the flesh, but have heard that it’s a lil’ miracle in a bottle! I can’t do coconut oil (too high in saturated fat for my bad gallbladder and gastroparesis), so I’m all about trying new oils that could sit well in my stomach!
