Wow. Just 24 more hours in Spokane – more or less – and this 11-day portion of my book tour comes to an end. (Cincinnati and Columbus, see you in two weeks!).
Yesterday was wonderful! We started with brunch with Tessa and Josh of INVeg Tracy and Max of Rabbitron at Boots Bakery & Lounge.
Bonnie and I split a pumpkin waffle (with chai whipped butter) and some sides (mac n’ cheese and vegan sausage hash). But the highlight, of course was Penelope the pig dining with us (Tessa and Josh are babysitting her).
Our first stop after brunch was a walk by the river.
Then we were off to Auntie’s Bookstore, where I served up rice pudding in my Fagor 3-in-1 Multicooker and talked to so many wonderful people – many not vegan – who were super-excited about the book.
It was great to meet Celeste, Meg, Danielle, Ryan, and many others. And to see my friend Yami,
a fellow Food for Life instructor! From Auntie’s we dashed off to Barnes & Noble.
Today I will be teaching a vegan pressure cooking 101 class and demo at the INVeg Community Potluck.
