This Sunday I’m starting off with a huge thank you to the Colorado Springs community! Yesterday was the official book release party for Vegan Pressure Cooking and it was a blast! A big thanks to Fagor America and Girasole Vineyards for sponsoring the event and a HUGE thank to the over 70 people who attended!
Speaking of Colorado Springs, today is the Happy New Year Vegan Brunch Potluck. I’m making pressure cooked Soy Curl Mac ‘n Cheese!

I really enjoy your blog as well as your Tweets (I’m not on Facebook). I look forward to Vegan News You Can Use each week. I recently purchased Vegan Pressure Cooking at a local bookstore in Boise and just made Mung Bean Stew. It went together just like you said it would and was so quick and easy as well as totally delicious. I look forward to making lots of new recipes in my pressure cooker. Thank you!
p.s. Your weekend sounded killer (stimulating, rewarding, and exhausting) and yet you came home and cooked some more. What a woman!
@stephanieyoungerman:disqus, thank you so much for taking the time time to comment. I’m always hopeful that the vegan weekly news posts are helpful. So thank you! And thanks for picking up my book! I’m so glad you enjoyed the stew!
