I’m a day late with the vegan news but I have a really good excuse! Yesterday I was up at 4:30 a.m. to drink coffee, eat breakfast and get geared up for a 7:15 a.m. race start! Yep, I ran the Denver Rock ‘n’ Roll Half-Marathon!
Here I am – with my friend Cindy – steps from the finish.
And here’s my rocking medal after 13.1 miles.
This was my 18th half-marathon in ten years – but my first in four years. It was hard. And worth it because I got to train and race with my dear friend!
So that’s my excuse for being a day late with the news. I hope you forgive me.
Oh, one last thing before we get to the news: I want to bring my new book Vegan Pressure Cooking to YOUR community! Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Congratulations! With your heavy work schedule, it’s great that you were able to train & finish. (standing ovation)
On another note – I can’t remember or find the post where you shared which brand of pressure cooker you preferred. I’ve just about decided I need one. 🙂
@jacqui_p:disqus, that’s awesome! I use Fagor stovetop pressure cookers and the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker. Love them all!
