Happy day after Thanksgiving! If you celebrated it, I hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends. While I was dining at Candle 79 with my husband (A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.–more on that tomorrow!) I posted about my aunt’s Vegan Magic Cookie Bars, the latest post in the Food is Activism series.
Today I will not be shopping. In fact, since I didn’t cook yesterday, I will be doing lots of cooking in preparation for some special posts I have planned next week. If you’re thinking about what to do with your Black Friday, but would prefer to stay in your pajamas and enjoy another cup of coffee, let me direct you to something pretty amazing.
My friends Jill and John are the masterminds behind Vegan Cuts. Each week I get an email with a “deal” on vegan food, treats or wares. I’ve received huge discounts on vegan shoes, handbags, bath products and chocolate (to name just a few)!
This week I was blown away when I got this in my email:
Vegan Cuts Holiday Gift Guide 2011
It’s a .pdf file of the most gorgeous compassionate holiday guide I have ever seen! Inside you will find recipes, craft gift ideas, ways to support vegan causes and tips on how to talk veganism to friends and family. And gifts, beautiful gifts!
This is just a glimpse into the 25-page guide of gift ideas!
Thank you, Vegan Cuts, for helping us all live, and shop, more compassionately!
