NYC designer Lois Eastlund has come out with a line of tote bags that are hand stenciled with trend setting designs, including pro animal & pro vegan sayings. How many times have you reached for your favorite t-shirt with that graphic you want to show off, but it’s in the laundry…again? Well, on a tote bag you can show it off as often as you like! All of the bags are made by using up the leftover jersey knit material she uses for her super comfy & fab dresses and t-shirts. They are as comfy as your every day t-shirt while being recycled, vegan and “totes” cool.
What woman doesn’t want another pair of shoes, especially red heels, for Christmas? I love these chic, sexy, faux suede pumps with rose detail at the toe, by Beyond Skin at Compassion Couture. Very Valentino, without the cruelty.
For the beauty product fanatics, create a personalized gift set from Lush. Don’t forget one of the amazing smelling bath bombs that do cool things like sparkle or change shapes, before they dissolve in the water! Not all products are 100% vegan, as some things have honey or lanolin. But there are plenty of vegan choices in luscious face creams, masks, shampoos and makeup to satisfy any indulgence. The sales associates at Lush are specially trained and very helpful. Bonus! – They will give you a free mini facial and makeover to demonstrate the products and send you away with free samples! Tie up all of your choices in one of their exclusive, eco friendly, reusable, “knot wraps” like this one designed by the ultra fabulous Vivienne Westwood. It makes a hot, modern scarf all on its own!

Borsa Bella eReader/Kindle Color Case. I adore Borsa Bella’s Etsy Store. My kindle has been swaddled in their beautiful fabric since Christmas 2009.

I love Christy’s jewelry. Everything is affordable, handmade, made from recycled materials and when buying from Christy I know I’m supporting a vegan business. I’ve given her necklaces to both vegans and non-vegans, since she some of her designs aren’t vegan specific, and the recipients always love them. I also like giving Christy’s necklaces to myself because I like being able to wear a little vegan message just about anywhere – meetings, parties, etc. Photo courtesy of Christy Robinson.
Vegan Cookbooks
I like giving cookbooks with easy vegan recipes to omnivores, especially those who are trying to eat a little healthier. It helps keep meat off of their plates a few times a week and shows them that vegan food is delicious. This year I think a few people will be finding Fran Costigan‘s gorgeous book Vegan Chocolate under their trees! Photo courtesy of Fran Costigan

Isa Does It. Every vegan loves a great cookbook. This one just came out in October and is fabulous. It is great for both new and long time vegans, with many recipes that are relatively simple and without a million ingredients. I have made many of the recipes and posted them to my blog, all were delicious!
A Matt & Nat Bag, these bags are gorgeous, and I am secretly hoping to get one for christmas too! They have bags for both men & women.
A huge thanks to my colleagues for sharing their holiday gift ideas!
