Weekly Round-Up: Favorite Post and Favorite Recipes of the Week

by JL Fields on May 22, 2011

Hand’s down, the best blog post I read this week was written by my husband.  Why? The surprise of it. We both blog and we really don’t talk much about our blogs to each other. He doesn’t know when or what I’m blogging and I certainly don’t know his schedule.  So imagine my surprise when this post popped up in my Google Reader: Support, In Injury And In Health.  I can’t lie. It brought me to tears.  At work.  I always feel appreciated by him but there was something about the public declaration that was especially moving.

This week I bookmarked lots of recipes in my Google Reader.  Here are a few I’m particularly keen on trying:

And, finally, a recap of what happened here on the blog:

MONDAY  Vegan 101: Reading Labels to Avoid Animal Products

WEDNESDAY  Savory Quinoa Bread

FRIDAY  I am not a skinny triathlete.

The latest post in my Stop Chasing Skinny series was featured on BlogHer’s Own Your Beauty.

SATURDAY  Urban Gardening: Progress!

I hope you had a great week! See you on Monday with–yep, you guessed it–another Vegan 101 post!

Yeah, I guess that seems strange. But he’s not a vegan so my blog isn’t really his thing. I do use him for editing on longer, more text heaving posts. :)
