Vegan Pressure Cooking in Montana!

I’m traveling to Billings, Montana today –  the first of many events throughout Montana before ending this portion of my book tour in Spokane, Washington!

There has been some great media coverage, from The Livingston Enterprise

I just love spreading the good vegan word through pressure cooking! And I just love Bonnie Goodman for working so hard to get the word out! At 5 pm MST today I’m teaching a vegan pressure cooking 101 class at the Billings Natural Grocer and I just can’t wait! Here’s what I’ll be up to:

I plan to do some video blogging on the road. Hope you don’t mind!

I wanted to let you know that there are a couple of giveaways going on for Vegan Pressure Cooking:

I also wanted to let you know the February 9 Real World Vegan Meal Plans are ready to roll!

  1. That’s great! We’re a couple of vegans who live “just down the road” from Billings, in Sheridan, WY. We LOVE the Natural Grocers up there, and are thrilled to hear they’re hosting your class! I hope you get a big, friendly turnout! In Billings as well as on the rest of your road trip. (It’s been a year and a half since we ate there, but we highly recommend Boots Bakery for a meal – or at least dessert – when you’re in Spokane!)

    1. Hi @laloofah:disqus! It was a fun, welcoming group! Had a blast! Have you eaten at The Field House in Billings? They offer some wonderful vegan options!

      1. So glad to hear it! And no – not only have we never eaten at The Field House, we’ve never heard of it! (When we’re in Billings – which isn’t too often – we always grab lunch at the Good Earth Co-op’s deli). We will definitely try The Field House next time we’re there. Thanks for making the long trip to Billings to find us a new place to eat! LOL Enjoy the rest of our tour – you’re going to be in some great places, and I hope you have fun and all your classes are a smashing success! 🙂

          1. It’s not a vegan restaurant, @laloofah:disqus. It’s a restaurant that makes vegan food when requested (and some things are already vegan). We had brussels sprouts with cashew – parm and sundried tomato aioli (made with veganaise) and warm kale salad with squash and pumpkin seeds. Went back the next morning for breakfast and had the burrito with black beans, potatoes, shitake mushrooms, and kale) and MORE brussels!
