The Seed is this weekend!

Thank you for all of the wonderful, supportive comments to my post yesterday!  I appreciate that you understand how giddy I am about my column! Speaking of the column, today I review a local Asian restaurant.

It was nice to see some of you on the vegan, pressure cooker chat on Twitter yesterday, too!

If you missed the chat, no fear! Here’s the transcript.

Now, on to The Seed. It’s almost here!

I wrote an original piece for BlogHer.com about the event which went up yesterday:  The Seed: A Vegan Experience in New York City June 16 & 17.  I was honored to speak with the event co-founders and the content advisers to get a more in-depth understanding of how the event came about and what you can expect.   If you’ve been on the fence about attending I suspect you may lean more toward going after reading all about it!  Especially because you can still get 10% off tickets!

The Seed organizers have been interviewing all of the speakers — as you may know, I am moderating/presenting at the blogger panel Saturday morning — and you can read my interview here: Q and A: JL Fields Wishes Everyone Were Vegan.

I hope to see you at The Seed Saturday morning!

  1. Wish I could go!  Sounds fab.  I went to the BlogHer Food conference last weekend in Seattle & had a ton of fun, but sorta wished there had been more vegan friends to collaborate with.

Hope you have a ton of fun!

      1. I am planning on being in Austin next year.  We’re moving to San Antonio soon, so I’ll only be a short drive away.  It’s a great conference to expand your non-vegan connections.

  2. Your mushroom and barley soup is my personal favorite of your pressure cooker recipe repitoire!  🙂

  3. What a lovely talk you gave about blogging! I’m glad I schlepped from DC to NY to hear it! I just added you on my blog and my Google reader! Please keep up the amazing work!! Cheers! – nero
