Vegan MoFo 2013 VIDEO #9: More on the Pressure Cooker (Peachy Buttery Jam-ish recipe)

How about that abrupt end to the video yesterday? Yeah, I had more to say…about the pressure cooker, intuitive cooking, having fun in the kitchen, and experimenting – all of which I did when I made a Peachy Buttery Jam-like recipe. Check out today’s (super short!) video:

Peachy Buttery Jam Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups diced peaches/nectarines
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vegan butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring to pressure; cook at pressure for 3 minute
  2. Quick release
  3. Mash, add 1 teaspoon of vegan butter, simmer (uncovered) for a few minutes to cook down the liquid.
